PAANYAYA: " LEGACY AND STATEMENT: WEAVING STANZAS, WEAVES IN STANZAS"
PAANYAYA: Sa pagdiriwang ng 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, inaanyayahan ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Tripoli, Libya, ang mga miyembro ng Filipino community sa isang 𝘱𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺-𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 na pinamagatang “𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝘀, 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝘀,” na gaganapin sa ika-21 ng Marso 2023 sa ganap na ala-1:00 nang hapon (Philippine time) sa Carlos P. Romulo library.
Tampok dito ang mga panauhing eksperto at artista, gaya nina Bb. Heidi Mendoza, Bb. Marites R. Rogado, Bb. Romalyn Borja Aniceto, Dr. Melchor E. Orpilla mula sa Pangasinan State University - Bayambang Campus, at Bb. Virginia J. Pasalo, komisyoner ng Pangasinan Historical and Cultural Commission.
Ang 𝘱𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 na ito ay inorganisa ng DFA Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy-Cultural Diplomacy Division, sa pakikipagtulungan ng UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM) at ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Pangasinan sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO).
Magsisilbi itong pagtatapos sa 𝘦𝘹𝘩𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘵 tungkol sa buhay at mga gawa ni Geronima Tomelden-Pecson, ang unang babae na senador ng Pilipinas at ang unang babaeng miyembro ng UNESCO Executive Board.

INVITATION: In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, invites members of the Filipino community to the poetry reading activity entitled “𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝘀, 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝘀,” which will be held on 21 March 2023 at 1:00 P.M. (PH time) at the Carlos P. Romulo library.
It will feature guest experts and artists, namely, Ms. Heidi Mendoza, Ms. Marites R. Rogado, Ms. Romalyn Borja Aniceto, Dr. Melchor E. Orpilla from Pangasinan State University - Bayambang Campus, and Ms. Virginia J. Pasalo, Commissioner of Pangasinan Historical and Cultural Commission.
The event is organized by the DFA Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy-Cultural Diplomacy Division, in collaboration with the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM) and the Provincial Government of Pangasinan through the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO).
The event will serve as the culminating event of the ongoing exhibit on the life and works of Geronima Tomelden-Pecson, the first lady senator of the Philippines and the first female member of the UNESCO Executive Board.
