PH EMBASSY HOLDS PAN DE SAL BAKING SEMINAR FOR FILCOM IN LIBYA
Tripoli, 13 March 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, held the “How to Bake Pan de sal: A Live Demonstration and Hands on Seminar” on 11 March 2023 at the Chancery Building in Janzour, Tripoli, Libya.
Mr. Eugene Q. Elcano, a Filipino cook at the Palm City Residences and former Embassy staff, taught the 16 participants how to make classic, cheese, malunggay, and ube-flavored variants of 𝑝𝑎𝑛 𝑑𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑙, the most known Filipino bread particularly eaten during breakfast.
The seminar was the first activity of the two-part special edition of the Embassy’s Kapihan sa Pasuguan, in celebration of the 2023 National Women’s Month. As part of its intensive reintegration campaign, the Embassy aims to build the capacity of the Filipino Community through livelihood seminars such as baking breads. END
