PAANYAYA: Sa pagdiriwang ng 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, inaanyayahan ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Tripoli, Libya, ang mga miyembro ng 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 sa isang 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮 na pinamagatang “𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺.”

Ang 𝘩𝘺𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮 na ito ay inorganisa ng DFA Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy-Cultural Diplomacy Division, sa pakikipagtulungan ng UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM) at ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Pangasinan sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO).

Tampok sa 𝘬𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮 ang katayuan at kuwento ng kababaihan sa 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮. Ito ay gaganapin sa ika-10 ng Marso 2023 sa ganap na ala-1:00 nang hapon (Philippine time) sa Carlos P. Romulo library. Ang 𝘴𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘶𝘮 ay pagkilala sa unang babaeng senador ng Republika ng Pilipinas, Senator Geronima Tomelden-Pecson, na naging susi sa paglikha ng UNACOM at unang Filipina na naging miyembro ng UNESCO Executive Board noong 1950.

INVITATION: In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, invites members of the Filipino community to the event entitled “𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗺.”

The hybrid symposium is organized by the DFA Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy-Cultural Diplomacy Division, in collaboration with the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM) and the Provincial Government of Pangasinan through the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO).

The kickoff program is a symposium highlighting the status and her-story of women in multilateralism, which will be held on 10 March 2023 at 1:00 P.M. (Philippine time) at the Carlos P. Romulo library. The symposium is a tribute to the first lady senator of the Republic, Geronima Tomelden-Pecson, who is an outstanding trailblazer instrumental in the creation of UNACOM and the first Filipina to be a member of the UNESCO Executive Board in 1950.
