On 02 August 2022, officers and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, paid tribute to Mr. Mokatil "Moks" K. Tidto, who retired early from government service last 31 July 2022, for his dedicated service and valuable contribution for almost 19 years.

Moks started working as Translator, Interpreter, and Consular Assistant at the Embassy on 07 September 2003. He was heavily involved in the massive repatriation of overseas Filipinos who were caught in the middle of the civil wars in Libya in 2011 and from 2014 to 2016. END
